“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I’ll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase “each other”
doesn’t make any sense.
The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you.
Don’t go back to sleep.
You must ask for what you really want.
Don’t go back to sleep.
People are going back and forth across the doorsill
where the two worlds touch.
The door is round and open.
Don’t go back to sleep.”
Rumi, extract from the poem ‘The Great Wagon’

In collectively living questions around the nature of love and the spiritual dimension of human consciousness, WholeSky aspires to nurture a deeper sense of belonging to the earth community, and a sense of the profound interconnection of all Life.
As we fill our hearts with gratitude for the sacred gifts bestowed by Mother Earth, how might we enter into new(old), more imaginative and life-affirming relationships with each other, and with the very plants, animals, soil, land, air and water that sustain our existence?
This is a ’heart centred’, non-doctrinal approach to spiritual enquiry. It honours the transformative power of the universal spiritual values of compassion and kindness to support the sacred and innate yearning of the human heart to express its full potential for beauty, generosity and joy.
Welcoming all faiths, religions, beliefs and spiritual practices, WholeSky will explore the power and possibility of transformative contemplative and meditative practices and other spiritual modalities. These practices are intended to support more compassionate, authentic and wise ways of being with ourselves and each other, and our actions in the world.
